2006 es el año del inicio de una nueva etapa para la celebre colección "Admiral's Cup" de la casa de relojes de pulsera Corum, con un estilo nuevo y totalmente renovado su último modelo de gran tamaño "Admiral's Cup 48 Competition", el nuevo estilo de su caja de titanio, con ángulos muy marcados, como los veleros y yates más modernos.

Se ha conservado la imagen del antiguo Admiral's Cup: su forma dodecagonal, cristal zafiro antirreflectante tallado en doce caras o facetas que le dotan de un nuevo aire deportivo de Gran Lujo, sumergible a 300 metros, corona horaria, ancha y den gran tamaño para su más fácil manipulación, con el grabado caracteristico de la casa Corum "Una LLave", la corona está protegida a ambos lados por los salientes de la caja de caucho vulcanizado, que asegura una optima protección.

En su interior late su nueva maquinaria un voluminoso calibre 8235 realizado por la casa Joux Perret, sobre una base Valjoux y considerado como uno de los movimientos más fiables del mundo.

En éste año Corum amplia su colección de relojes con los nuevos"Golden Bridge" en oro blanco y engastado con 66 brillantes, con esferas modernas decoradas y con "Débutante" una pieza capaz de expresar el eterno encanto más femenino

Rene Bannwart and his cousin Simone Ries started the company with her father Gaston, who had been operating a small watch company in La Chaux-de-Fonds since 1924.
